How it works
Quick-commerce apps price the same pack of butter differently, and the difference moves through the day. BudgetBasket checks all three for your pincode so you don’t have to open three apps.
1. We find the same product everywhere
A match has to agree on brand and pack size. “Amul Butter 500 g” is never matched with a 100 g pack, or with another brand’s butter. When the names differ a little but the product looks the same, we mark it as a closest match so you can glance at it.
2. We add what checkout adds
For a whole basket, each app’s delivery fee, small-cart fee, handling fee and GST on those fees are added, using each app’s published rules. Peak-time surge changes minute to minute, so we leave it out and say so.
3. Only a complete basket can win
If one app is missing two of your items, its total looks cheaper because it’s shorter. So only an app that has everything can be called cheapest. Missing items show as “—”, never ₹0.
4. You order on the app, as usual
Tap “Order on …” and the app opens with your list copied. We don’t take a cut or add a fee. If you’re signed in, we add what you saved to your total — measured against the next-cheapest complete basket.
